Early Music Voices and their partner group Voicescapes  –  are holding two Messiah events this December!

Our intimate and beautiful, period-instrument Messiah returns after last year’s sell-out. A full performance of Handel’s beloved work with Rosa Barocca on period instruments led by Claude Lapalme. They will be joined by soloists and an elite 16-voice choir made up of VoiceScapes and local professional singers.

The Calgary tradition lives on – its 18th year! Auditioned young soloists along with VoiceScapes and Friends will sing the arias. And you, the audience, can join the professional choir and orchestra (Rosa Barocca) to sing along with the choruses if you wish…or just sit back and enjoy! All conducted by Claude Lapalme.

Join Cochrane and Area Hospice Society for a Remembrance Tree Celebration
Saturday, November 30

• Celebration outside (dress for the weather)

• Music by Cochrane Music Society’s River Reeds

The Remembrance Tree is decorated with white light bulbs that, with a small donation, are changed to color to shine throughout December to honor loved ones.
