Calgary Wind Symphony & University of Calgary Chorus Present Carmina Burana
The University of Calgary Chorus joins forces with the Calgary Wind Symphony to perform Carl Orff’s magnificent Carmina Burana. The ever popular Carmina Burana is a “scenic cantata” composed by Orf in 1935 and 1936 and has been enjoyed by audiences worldwide ever since. The concert will be rounded out with Peter and the Wolf, the Nutcracker Suite and selections by the U of C Chorus.
