If you would like to become a member of one or more of the Cochrane Music Society ensembles, you are welcome to attend a few rehearsals to meet us, play or sing with us, and get a feel for the level of music.

2011-2012 Fees (Same as last year!)

All bands and choir fees for 2011-2012 are $250 for a single ensemble,
with a cascading fee structure for multiple ensembles.

Note: Fees for one session only (spring or fall) are one-half the ensemble(s) fee.  Example : For one ensemble the fees are $250 /2 = $125

For the directors to develop the musical ability of the ensembles, and for all to enjoy the group experience, membership requires your personal commitment to practice at home and attend as many rehearsals and concerts as possible.

Fees are used to fund the directors, accompanist, clinicians, music, insurance, venues and some instruments. The operation of the society is handled entirely by volunteers. Each member is expected to contribute time to some of the many tasks that make the organization function effectively for all.
